On March 2nd we will be exactly one week into the three week period of Mercury Retrograde in Pisces, and 10 days into Saturn in Scorpio’s annual retrograde. The water trine between these two planets, close on the 2nd, will be exact on March 7th. But that’s not all folks—on the day of this class Mercury will be in a rolling conjunction with Mars, Sun, Chiron, Venus and Neptune, while Saturn will be conjunct the moon and the North Node—voila—Water World! In fact, water is the theme of 2013—watch for the grand trine when Jupiter enters Cancer in June… So—what can we learn from the deep inward thrust of these planets? Come, inspire your creativity and plumb the depths of your emotions and your unconscious mind.

Saturn in the birth chart provides information about life purpose, goals and lessons. Every seven years, transiting Saturn creates a hard aspect to its natal position, initiating a growth crisis or life turning point—a period of challenge, change, growth and maturity. A powerful three stage transformational process unfolds during this 2 ½-3 year period of Saturn’s aspect by sign.
A PowerPoint presentation (with original collage artwork) illustrating my own Saturn cycles provides an example. Participants then create a personal timeline and journal. Sharing is encouraged. Handouts aid in identifying key dates, chief characteristics and challenges. Exciting new insights emerge. The exercise can be simple or complex depending on your knowledge of astrology. This is a follow-up workshop for SoulCollagers who attended the Life Turning Points lecture, either last month or at the 2011 SC conference. Please continue to fill in your journals as preparation. Here is your opportunity to match up cards in your deck with the key themes in your life. You will be surprised at how synchronized they are! Your cards present a whole new perspective on what you view as important and how you have been holding it. This exercise offers you a chance to complete and transform old stories, fill in gaps, embrace new learning and advance your life purpose and mission. Discussion and sharing. There is a full moon and a lunar eclipse on this date—so the energy will be HOT!
